‘LittleBigPlanet’ Beta This Month
filed in Industry News on Sep.03, 2008
Media Molecule is making sure their anticipated platformer, LittleBigPlanet, is in tip-top shape when it launches this October 21. And to everyone’s luck, they’re turning to the public for assurance as Sony is planning to host a public beta test for the title this month.
According to the PlaystationBoard post, the beta test will focus more on the multiplayer aspect of the title–content uploads, downloads, sharing and more. “This kind of testing is often referred to as a Stress Test, however we’re looking a little more deeply into the game experience than simply throwing thousands of players at the online side of the game at the same time,” as stated in the developer post.
Sign-ups and participation information “will be made in public in advance of the test”. So as soon as Sony gives the go, we’ll let you know. LittleBigPlanet, published by Sony Computer Entertainment, will be available for the Playstation 3. Check out the latest vid of the title after the cut.
