GTA-Inspired Child…Saves Lives
filed in Odd Stuff on Sep.03, 2008
On the night of August 27, The Norris family of five decided to spend some quality time with each other and boarded their 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee to visit relatives residing in Diamond, Illinois. But little did they know that unfortunate events would soon occur during the trip. Their vehicle swerved off the road, hitting a guard rail and flipped four times before it crashed down on its roof.
With both parents, Karen and Robert Norris Jr., in a daze as they hang upside down, their daughter Audrey did the unthinkable–she climbed out of the broken back window ala Grand Theft Auto and helped her family out of the car. “She just knew, from playing Grand Theft Auto…She saw on there that when a car rolls over, it can blow up. She knew that could happen to us,” said by Karen Norris in the report.
So there you have it. No crimes, no deaths, no arrest–just a Grand Theft Auto inspired child saving lives.
