Microsoft said it’s taking “vigorous action” against individuals who pirate Halo 4. The company said on Friday it was investigating a possible leak of the game. Over the weekend, various YouTube videos and streams surfaced showing off the complete campaign.
“We are aware of isolated cases in which ‘Halo 4’ content has been propped on the Web and are working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation immediately, a Microsoft spokesperson said in a statement sent to Game Informer. “Consumers should be aware that piracy is illegal and we take vigorous action against illegal activity related to our products and services.
Microsoft also said it does not plan on changing the November 6 release date of Halo 4 due to the leak.
