GOONL!NE ran a rumor piece over the weekend which suggests that Rocksteady Games might well be hard at work on a sequel to this year’s excellent Batman: Arkham Asylum. The tantalizing quote from Rocksteady’s game director, Sefton Hill, comes from the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine and reads as follows:
“I’m not really allowed to comment on that, but there are definitely lots of exciting stories to tell in Batman’s world, and I can say that we’re really privileged to work on it, and excited about future possibilities.”
Arkham Asylum is one of this year’s top-ranked games and launched on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in August, with the PC release following in September.
